“THE highlight of my Alaska trip! Natalie took us from Gustavus to Mud Bay River on Chichagof Island where we hiked up river and caught Pink Salmon and Dolly Varden and also got to watch a brown bear chasing salmon down river from us. Natalie is a knowledgeable guide and full of helpful hints to assist with catching fish. It was a great day adventure and if I should make it back to Gustavus, I’ll do it again.“

“My wife had never fly-fished, and Natalie was a wonderful teacher. As we paddled downstream, Natalie shared her knowledge of the local plants and wildlife. We saw bald eagles nesting and a family of mergansers swimming. I can’t imagine a better way to spend the day.”

“Natalie is professional and also a lot of fun to be around! We went on a sea kayak day excursion from Gustavus and saw a ton of wildlife including whales, sea otters, bald eagles, and more. She was very safety conscious and flexible to the needs of our crew.“
-Sadawes, June ’21
“We had an amazing afternoon with Natalie, she was very patient while teaching me to fly fish and before I knew it I was able to cast and catch a fish myself. Truly an amazing experience on the Salmon River!“
-Jessica, July ’21
“We loved our trip with Natalie so much that we went out with her TWICE in one week. For our first trip, we kayaked down a gorgeous river. For our second trip, we went sea kayaking to an island where we saw porpoises, salmon, eagles, sea otters, and sea lions. Along the way, Natalie was full of great stories and was incredibly knowledgeable about the currents/winds which made us feel safe. A trip with Natalie is a MUST do in Gustavus!“
-Josephine, July ’21
“We went on a sea kayaking day trip with Natalie when we visited Gustavus and it was possibly the single greatest part of our trip. She was super responsive to all questions and texts before we got there and let us know what to expect and what to bring. The day trip we took was incredible. We paddled through kelp forests, paused to watch seals and sea otters, climbed around the rocky shore looking at tide pools and sea stars.“
-Aviva, August ’20
My husband and I are novices but with Natalie’s guidance we both caught multiple fish and also enjoyed a relaxing kayak trip down the Salmon River. It was the highlight of our trip to Alaska!
-Bunny, July ’19
“Our sea kayaking trip from Gustavus to Pleasant Island with Natalie was a highlight of our time in Glacier Bay! Natalie was very responsive when we were booking the trip. We particularly liked it that our kayaking trip was active, rather than just passively looking at the scenery. Natalie took care to be sure we were comfortable and safe. Natalie then showed us some tide pools and marine life on the island before we headed back across the Icy Strait to Gustavus. We strongly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a guided kayak trip in Glacier Bay!“
-Nancy, August ’21
“I am a novice fisherman at best and Natalie found us some great spots and I was catching pink salmon all afternoon. Natalie was patient and encouraging and was having as much fun watching us catch fish as catching them herself. I would recommend Natalie to any one looking for a real Alaskan adventure.”
