Your Guide
Natalie, 26, is the owner and founder of NatVenture Tours. She is proud to call Alaska home, and loves to share it with others through her passion for outdoor adventure. She fell in love with fishing at a young age, and taught herself how to fly-fish with a rod one of her first clients gifted her. The things she enjoys most about her job are building connections with her guests and when someone catches their first fish.
Natalie has a B.S. in Environmental Science from Western Washington University. She also has a FAA pilot’s license and USCG captain’s license. She is bilingual and one of the few Spanish speaking guides in Alaska. When Natalie is not guiding, she likes to hike, bike, hunt, and travel. So far she has visited a total of 16 countries!
Note: Natalie guides most trips, but occasionally another highly qualified local guide may lead your trip. If you prefer Natalie, please let us know at the time of booking.

Our Story
Natalie founded her guiding business in 2015 when she was a senior in high school. It was created to be a summer job, but thankfully ended up turning into a career.
When Natalie started out, she only offered walk-in spin fishing trips on the Salmon River in Gustavus, Alaska. Each year the business steadily grew, resulting in new and improved tours every summer. First we added fly fishing, then kayaking, packrafting, and bear watching. Most recently, we have expanded our operation to include tours based out of Hoonah, Alaska.
Our goal is to provide "non-touristy" off-the-beaten-path style trips that you will talk about for the rest of your life. We hope to have the opportunity to take you on a NatVenture during your Alaska vacation.
