Ocean Fishing

Fish the calm coastal waters of Quepos, Costa Rica from a traditional boat called a “panga”. Fishing will be done using traditional hand-lining method.  We will fish for red snapper, tuna, and rooster fish. Light snack and drink will be provided.

Mangrove Fishing

Travel by a small traditional fishing boat called a “panga”  through the mangroves. You will have the opportunity to see exotic birds, monkeys, fish, and crocodiles. As we travel through the mangroves we will stop to learn and practice traditional fishing methods. Light lunch and drink will be provided, and we will also search for fresh coconuts as a refreshment.

“El Reto Mae” Hike

This hiking tour takes you from Quepos to Manuel Antonio by way of “beach hopping”. The tour takes you by 5 different beaches and you will have the opportunity to see sloths, monkeys, iguanas, and exotic birds. A snack of fresh locals fruits will be provided.

Spearfishing

River Camping

Campout along a secluded river, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and traditional meals cooked over an open fire. The daytime hours can be passed bathing in the river, hiking, and fishing with your guide. This tour is offered seasonally, December – May.

 

Beach Camping

Sleep under the stars along a pristine beach, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and traditional meals cooked over an open fire. The daytime hours can be passed swimming in the ocean, hiking, or fishing with your guide. This tour can be combined with surf lessons to make a “surf-camping” package.

Catarata El Salto” Waterfall

Join your guide on a hike to a seldom visited waterfall in Quepos. Spot wildlife along the way, and if you’re of the adventures type, take a leaping plunge into the water. Local fruit snack will be provided.

Climb “El Cerro Chirripó

On this trip you will climb Costa Rica’s tallest mountain, the 12,533 foot El Cerro Chirripó. We will start the tour off by staying at a lovely accommodation in San Gerardo, the town at the foot of the mountain. The next morning we begin a trek through the tropical cloud forest to base camp. The following morning, we will make our way to the summit, where if the weather allows, both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans can be seen simultaneously.

Manuel Antonio National Park

Explore Costa Rica’s most famous national park with an experienced naturalist. You will walk along a well-groomed trail with the chance to see creatures such as sloths, monkeys, snakes, iguanas, tropical birds, and hard-working leaf-cutter ants. At the end of the hike you will reach the national park’s private beach, where you can go for a swim along one of the most pristine shorelines in the country.
